Minnesota CE Requirements for 2020
CCE Hours is a PACE Recognized Provider ensuring all continuing education courses meet the highest standards. Each course has a PACE course ID number, which will appear on the “Certificate of Attendance” that is awarded immediately upon completion of a course.
Minnesota Continuing Education Requirements: 20 hours per year by 12/31
Minnesota Accepts 20 hours of Online Continuing Education Courses
Minnesota Accepts 20 hours of TeleSeminar Continuing Education Courses
Special Requirements: 3 hours must be in X-ray or imaging related subjects (either technical or diagnostic) and 1 hour in professional boundaries 2 hours in acupuncture/meridian therapy related subject (only if registered to perform acupuncture services.)
Animal Chiropractic: Must take 6 hours of Animal Chiropractic CE approved by the MBCE each year in addition to the 20 required hours. Minnesota also requires AVCA Certification. AVCA has a requirement of 30 hours of CE every three years.
New Licensee Information: A new licensee is exempt from the continuing education requirement for the first year of licensure.
Reporting Requirements: Licensee affirms CE completion either Online or on State form
